Die Kammer der EKD für Öffentliche Verantwortung beleuchtet, welchen Beitrag der evangelische Glaube mit seinen Ideen, Orten und Praktiken leisten kann: Im Bildungshandeln, im diakonischen Hilfehandeln und im Einsatz für Frieden und Gerechtigkeit werden entsprechende Haltungen des Gemeinsinns nicht nur veranschaulicht, sondern auch eingeübt. Grundlage solcher Gemeinsinnorientierung ist, dass jeder Mensch gleichermaßen als Geschöpf Gottes angesehen wird. Damit wird ein Miteinander ermöglicht, das Erfahrungen und Ressourcen eröffnet, die nicht nur den kirchlichen, sondern auch den gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt und Gemeinsinn zu befördern und zu stärken vermögen. | ||
