Descripción
Sumario:One of the central aspects of the philosophical and theological work by J. Ratzinger/Benedict XVI is the analysis of human reason’s limits and possibilities. This point is especially important in relation to the traditionally called «philosophical premises» of faith. This analysis begins with a critical consideration of modern understanding of reason and highlights the necessity of an «enlargement» of the reason’s scope. In virtue of its own will of rationality, Christianity is presented as one of the most serious defenses of human reason. This entails a concept of reason which is open to faith and reason which is «faithful».
