Summary: | This article aims to show, from the synoptic gospels, that the traditional model of discipleship is not entirely present in Jesus’ disciples. This observation applies, at least during his earthly life before his resurrection; instead there are notes of discipleship in other characters related to Jesus. In this perspective, and contrary to the attitude that disciples kept when they abandon Gethsemane and fled, it would highlight the active role that will play the disciples in the mission that Jesus trusted them again in the Galilee, once he has resuscitated. This discipleship might be called post-Easter season which is not based on a failure and promised fidelity to Jesus’ disciples, but in the permanent and restorer fidelity to Jesus’ disciples. |
