| Reference: | The purpose of this paper is to examine the nature and characteristics of the denunciation of the crime de corruptio impuberum presented to the Holy Office, starting with an analysis of the documents archived at the Dicastery fot the Doctrine of the Faith. To achieve this objective, a study is made of thedenunciation forseen in the 1917 Code, and the specific regime of denunciation of the crime de corruptio impuberum. Once the basic normative elements have been presented, a study of the matrials in the archive is then presented. The review will conclude with a final assessment of the importance that the Holy Office attached to the theme of denunciation so as to facilitate this act in regard to the victims. In addition, the first-order probative relevance that the denunciation had in the trials for the crimes in question will be demonstrated. "" |
