After offering their notion together with their qualification in the light of the universal law of the Church, we move on to an analytical and critical examination of the diocesan sources governing them. Thus, their specific purposes and the different organs with which they are endowed are illustrated, specifying their composition and tasks. Finally, in the conclusion, the relevance of these institutes for the new evangelization is highighted.
