| Sumario: | In this paper we study the aspects of sacred oratory from Rio de la Plata in the first half of the 19th century by means of a collection of sermons—recently attibuted to—by Nicolas Aldazor, Federal Franciscan loyal to Rosas, who passed away when he became third bishop of the region of Cuyo. The study analyses the diverse meanings we can track in the material aspects of the documents and the rhetorical structure, as well as in the framework of bibliographical sources he uses in his writings. Clearly, these bibliographical sources used implied an exchange of books and ideas that were not only confined to life in the convent. Se estudian aspectos de la oratoria sagrada rioplatense de la primera mitad del siglo XIX a través del sermonario —recientemente atribuido— de Nicolás Aldazor; franciscano federal leal a Rosas, que acabó sus días como tercer obispo de Cuyo. El trabajo aborda los diversos sentidos que se pueden rastrear a través de su materialidad y su estructura retórica, como todo el entramado de fuentes bibliográficas de las que se nutre para la composición de sus escritos. Sin lugar a dudas, las fuentes bibliográficas usadas implicaban una circulación de libros e ideas que no se circunscribían solo al ámbito conventual. |
