Description
Summary:Attempts at deconstructing the cause of human misery have been made since time immemorial. There has been a functional tendency in human species to avoid or get rid of not only physical pain but also of mental uneasiness. This tendency has been explained in various ways, one of them being that mental un-easiness is a state which is not a human’s essential nature, given which a human seeks freedom from it. In line with this Indian inclination of understanding mental pain and getting healed from it, this paper attempts to introduce and explain the process of un-conditioning. This process talks about slowly removing the false layers using spirituality as a means, to reach a state of integrity. The understanding of human nuances from this perspective helps to understand the true source of pain and to target the same to access healing.
