| Summary: | Artificial intelligence (AI) is part of our daily lives. Today, it is the subject of heated debate in a variety of fields. Many challenges are raised. This article aims to address some specific topics : AI as a sign of the times; the numinous aspect of AI and its link with transhumanism; the patristic contribution to soteriology (reflection on salvation); some discernment criteria for theological reflection and pastoral practice, based on some of Pope Francis’ orientations. To the question "Artificial intelligence and salvation : reconcilable or irreconcilable ?", the article seeks to answer by demonstrating the importance of approaching the subject with criteria based on theological and pastoral reflection. L’intelligence artificielle (IA) fait partie de la vie quotidienne. Elle suscite aujourd’hui des débats houleux dans différents domaines. De nombreux défis sont soulevés. Cet article vise à aborder quelques sujets spécifiques : l’IA comme signe des temps ; l’aspect numineux de l’IA et son lien avec le transhumanisme ; la contribution patristique à la sotériologie (réflexion sur le salut) ; quelques critères de discernement pour la réflexion théologique et la pratique pastorale, à partir de certaines orientations du pape François. À la question « Intelligence artificielle et salut : conciliables ou inconciliables ? », l’article cherche à répondre en démontrant l’importance d’aborder le sujet avec des critères basés sur une réflexion théologique et pastorale. |
