| Summary: | Nel presente contributo si ipotizza che l’anonima donna conosciuta nei vangeli come l’emorroissa possa essere identificata con Cipro, la moglie di Marco Giulio Agrippa, colui che, pochi anni dopo la morte di Gesù, sarebbe diventato Erode Agrippa I, l’ultimo re di Giudea dal 41 al 44 d.C. La ricerca riconsegna un’emorroissa sposata, con un figlio, trasgressiva e coraggiosa, ma soprattutto con la possibilità di avere un nome, dopo secoli di anonimato. The present work proposes the specific historical hypothesis according to which the anonymous woman known in the gospels as the bleeding woman (haemorrhoissa) can be identified with Cypros, the wife of Marcus Julius Agrippa, the one who, a few years after the death of Jesus, would become Herod Agrippa I, the last king of Judea from 41 to 44 AD. The research brings back a married emorroissa, with a child, transgressive and courageous, but above all with the possibility of having a name, after centuries of anonymity. |
