| Summary: | Con el paso del tiempo, debido a los procesos históricos del cristianismo, los escándalos, la falta de coherencia de los diferentes movimientos cristianos y los nuevos paradigmas de liderazgo, se ha desdibujado el concepto de autoridad de los líderes religiosos. Debido a ello, se han suscitado cuestionamientos acerca de la autoridad en la Iglesia. Es por ello que se hace necesario plantearse: ¿cómo repensar la autoridad de la Iglesia con el fin de que se ejerza acorde a las problemáticas actuales? Con miras a responder este interrogante, se acude a Simeón el Nuevo Teólogo, quien puede ayudar a repensar la autoridad de la Iglesia a partir de su teología de la experiencia de Dios. Por ende, se exponen los rasgos más importantes de su vida y teología. Después, se muestra la relación entre la autoridad y su pensamiento. Posteriormente, se hace una reflexión en torno a la autoridad en la Iglesia de hoy; finalmente, las conclusiones. Thanks to the historical processes of Christianity, the scandals, the lack of coherence, and the new leadership paradigms of authority has become blurred. Because of this, questions about the authority concept in the Church have emerged. For this reason, it is necessary to consider: How to rethink the Church’s authority and its exercise according to current problems? Owing, Simeon the New Theologian is used to rethinking the Church’s authority from his theology of the experience of God. Therefore, expose the main topics of his life and Theology. Then, present the relationship between authority and his theology. After that, propose some reflection on authority for the church today. Finally, the conclusion. |
