| Summary: | El presente artículo pretende aportar noticias sobre las dos pestes que arrasaron la población de la ciudad de Burgos en el siglo XVI y la colaboración sobrevenida entre la Clerecía, catedralicia y parroquial, y los integrantes del Regimiento municipal. Ambas entidades, en parte, pensaron en defenderse del contagio abandonando la ciudad, en parte, aportando personas, limosnas y locales para paliar su efecto maligno entre los vecinos. Por tanto, este escrito termina siendo una página de la historia de la ciudad. This article aims to provide news about the two plagues that devastated the population of the city of Burgos in the 16th centrury and the collaboration that occurred between the Clergy, cathedral and parish, and the members of the municipal Regiment. Both entities, in part, thought of defending themselves from contagion by abandoning the city, in part, by contritubing people, alms and premises to alleviate its evil effect on the neighbors. Therefore, this writing ends up being a page in the history of the city. |
