| Summary: | L'absence de culture technique réelle, une certaine indifférence à l'égard des savoirs scientifiques et des débals entre experts semblent caractériser pour une bonne part la vie quotidienne. Cette ignorance au quotidien, cependant, ne se confond pas avec l'illettrisme pas plus qu'elle ne se réduit à un goût pour l'obscurantisme. Elle est plutôt révélatrice d'un étagement paradoxal de la société moderne au bas duquel s'est réfugié un ancestral rapport enchanté ou symbolique au monde et à la vie. Daily life seems to be characterized to a large extent by the absence of any real technical knowledge and a certain lack of interest for scientific developments and expert discussions. Such ignorance cannot however be identified with illiteracy nor can it be simply considered as an inclination for obscurantism. It would rather evidence the paradoxical setting up of modern society, at the bottom of which lies an ancestral relation to the world and to life, of a magic and symbolic nature. |
