| Sumario: | After defining the concepts of faith and reason that appear in the encyclical Fides et Ratio, the study presents the encounters and miusunderstandings of these two notions over the centuries. He also analyzes how the Pope in the encyclical makes a defense of philosophy and the need for the study of philosophy. Another aspect on which he focuses on which is to be highlighted in the enclyclical is the interaction between philosophy and theology. He concludes the first part by reaffirming the relationship between reason and truth, as he had already dealt with in Veritates Splendor. In a second shorter part, some aspects of Western culture are presented that show the presence and relevance of Christian thought today. El estudio después de definir los conceptos de fe y razón que aparecen en la encíclica Fides er Ratio, el estudio presenta los encuentros y desencuentreos entre estas dos nociones a lo largo de los siglos. También analiza como el Papa en la encíclica hace una defense de la filosofía y la necesidad del estudio del a filosofía. Otro aspecto en el que se centra y que es de reseñar en la encíclica es la interacción entre la filosofía y la teología. Concluye la primea parte reafirmando la relación entre razón y verdad como ya había tratado en la Veritatis Splendor. En una segunda parte más breve se exponen algunos aspectos de la cultura occidental que muestran la presencia y vigencia del pensamiento cristiano en la actualidad. |
