Description
Summary:The Atlas of Religion or Belief is a novel project aiming to quantitatively measure the respect and promotion of the rights of religion or belief minorities (RBMs) in Europe as a whole, in individual European countries, as well as concerning individual RBMs. By engaging a broad interdisciplinary team, it provides indexed measures of the extent to which the states promote or restrict such rights, how they treat different RBMs, and how they differentiate between the majority and minority. The article discusses the project's aims and scope, methodology, main areas of interest, and key findings so far.
