Summary: | The paper analyzes critically in a phenomenological perspective, the attempts to build « Artificial Intelligence » through applied and grassroot research. The Author states the essential difference between human intelligence and every attempts to reproduce it artificially, and sees at the root of such attempts, following R. Girard, a form of « invidious and appropriative mimesis ». He criticizes moreover the possible effects of the diffusion of Artificial Intelligence (unemployment, deeper contrast between nations, stronger social control). |
