Item Description:Mount Saint Alban, Washington, D. C. Detail of Statesmen's Window in North Transept. The panels shown portray Thomas Jefferson laying the cornerstone of the University of Virginia, and groups of persons in colonial costume on the way to a church meetinghouse. Wilbur H. Burnham and Reynolds, Francis and Rohnstock, both of Boston, collaborated in making this window. Worshipers and pilgrims are always welcome at the Cathedral
