Description
Item Description:The Chapel of Ascension commemorates Our Lord's last farewell, as He took His earthly departure from His apostles. Built on the height above the Grotto of Lourdes, it crowns the hilltops, as the original Chapel commands the summit of Mount Olivet, overlooking the city of Jerusalem. This Chapel is a replica of the one built by the Crusaders in the thirteenth century over the site of the original fourth century Ascension Shrine
