Description
Item Description:The Old White Church on the corner is of the Christopher Wrenn style of architecture and was erected in 1805. This church was organized in 1763 and is the oldest church in Vermont. Its first building was erected about 1765 and stood in the center of the green opposite the Waloomsac Inn. It was much smaller than the present edifice, so this larger building was considered necessary for the fast increasing congregation and was dedicated on New Year's Day 1806
