Item Description:This little Episcopal Church, erected in 1741, is the oldest church in Richmond. Here in 1775 Patrick Henry delivered his famous "Liberty or Death" oration. In the cemetery are buried many famous people among them are, Elizabeth Arnold Poe, mother of Edgar Allan Poe, and George Wythe, professor of the first law course in America of the College of William and Mary
