Item Description:The First Baptist Church of Richmond is located on an entire city block at Monument Avenue and Boulevard in the heart of a beautiful residental district. This historic church was founded in 1780 and worshipped for many years in downtown Richmond. The present building was erected in 1928 and has since been enlarged to provide an air-conditioned auditorium seating 1650 persons, a Colonial Chapel, and one hundred class and assembly rooms
