| Item Description: | This fast growing up-town church is located on Main and McGauchey Streets in Dyersburg. The City of Dyersburg was incorporated 1836 and the Methodist Church was organized in 1842. The first Building was erected in 1844 with Rev. R. A. Tarrant as pastor. The present building was erected in 1923. This church has always enjoyed a constant growth and friendly membership. Visitors and members of other denomination are always welcome |
