Item Description:Many years before the Revolution there was a Presbyterian Church on the banks of the Waccamaw River in the village at Kingston, now known as Conway, S. C. The name of this church is not recalled, however, the site where it stood was well known and its successor, the Kingston Presbyterian Church was built thereon in 1858.
