Item Description:Originally called Howe Hall. The Episcopal Diocesan School for Boys constructed the White Chapel in 1882 as a gymnasium and armory. During renovations to the structure in 1888, a second floor was added to serve as a dormitory for the "fellows," and offices and classrooms were established on the first floor. Albright College used the White Chapel over the years for a variety of academic purposes
