| Item Description: | Altar at Christmas, 1965. Reredos is of French Caen stone, statues of St. Peter, St. Paul, Ascension painting from Hoffman School. Church construction started in 1807 on land given by Judge William Cooper, Consecrated in 1810. James Fenimore Cooper and his wife are buried in the Cooper Family plot in front of St. Agnes' Chapel, built in 1860 |
