Item Description:In 1743 Lutheran Palatines who settled in Schoharie erected a building of Medieval German Construction to be used both as a dwelling for Rev. Peter Nicholas Sommer and a meeting place for his congregation. Schorarie Colonial Heritage Assoc. with the assistance of N. Y. State Historic Preservation has carefully restored the Old Parsonage with its kitchen cellar and jambless fireplaces
