| Item Description: | This Picturesque shot is of one of the very beautiful chapel and grounds at the Strategic Air Command's Plattsburgh Air Force Base, New York. The chapel was presented by the Church Women's League, to the United States Government as a memorial to the war dead. Artistically shaped in the form of a cross, the structure has a seating capacity of approximately 180. Its beautiful chimes can be heard by the North Country neighbors near the base |
