Description
Item Description:Santo Domingo Indian Reservation, New Mexico. Easily accessible to the traveler just off the main highway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque is one of the most interesting and least changed of the Indian pueblos in the state ... Its Indian inhabitants still practice beliefs and traditions at least 600 years old. And though no pictures may be taken in the pueblo, vistitors are welcomed to the many ceremonial dances and ancient rituals. The mission church has the furnishings and records of the first mission, dating back to the early 1600's
