Item Description:This is the oldest Episcopal church building West of the Allegheny Mountains. Built in 1832, it numbered among its building fund contributors Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay, and Daniel Webster. Its founder was the Rev. William Lyster, the famous Michigan missionary who named the "Irish Hills"
