Item Description:First church in the world dedicated to Ste. Therese of Lisieux. Founded by Rev. Chas. E. Coughlin. - Side-chapel dedicated to St. Joseph, Base of altar, as well as floor, are of Morocco Red Flame marble with Rose Aurora inserts. Walls are of Rose Aurora. The humble occupation of the Carpenter of Nazareth is made manifest in this statue of exquisite carving. He appears as pausing momentarily during an hour of labor. His hands rest on an adze, which is symbolic of labor
