Item Description:The "World's Largest Crucifix" stands in a beautiful pine grove just south of Indian River at intersection of highways M-68 and M-27. The Bronze Corpus is 31 feet high, 22 feet wide and weighs 4 tons. The Cross is cut from one California Redwood Tree, and is 55 feet high, 22 feet wide and weighs 14 tons. Sculptor is Marshall M. Fredericks. Mass is celebrated on Sundays at the foot of the cross
