| Item Description: | The Porter Evangelical Church is situated on North Main Street opposite Perkins Park, Brockton, Mass. and was built the year that the Society was organized, 1850. The steeple was blown off during the gale of September 8th, 1868. The church was enlarged in 1883 and the present Pastor Rev. Albert Marion Hyde was installed in December 1905 |
