Item Description:The Church dates from 1846. The Archbishopric on the right is the oldest building in the Mississippi Valley and survives in an almost perfect state of preservation. Building commenced in 1727, finished in 1734. The benches on which the slaves sat morning and evening for instruction and a clock made by Dey of Paris in 1638 may be seen
