Item Description:The gothic structure of the Rockefeller Memorial Chapel of the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, is located on the Midway, at the corner of 58th Street and Woodlawn Avenue. It is non-sectarian, and a memorial to the founder of the University, John D. Rockefeller. Its original costs were $1,650,000. The tower is 209 feet high and contains the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon with 72 bells. The tower at the right is the Tower of the Chicago Theological Seminary
