(This is where the angel fortold the birth of John the Baptist-Luke 1). "Holy of Holies" Two life size cherubims in hand work on pretty drapes make up the Veil. (This was rent when Christ died on the cross (Matt. 27:45-51). This "Veil" hangs on Four Golden Pillars, with bases of silver. Inside at centre stands the famous "Ark of the Covenant," where the Shekinah of God's glory was manifested, over the Mercy Seat. -Special Tourist Season Services-3 P.M.
