| Item Description: | "God's Dwelling Place on Earth" You have never heard anything, you have never seen anything more wonderful in your life than the symbols of God's Sanctuary located at 2700 13th Street South. Here you find a full size model of the Tabernacle God commanded Moses some 3,500 years ago to build at the foot of Mt. Sinai with all its wonderful symbolic furnishings. "The Outer Court" This was a compound with white curtains stretching 75' by 150' with an eastern gate. The Brazen Alter stood inside for all sacrifices and a Brazen Laver for all cleanings. (Made from the women's looking glasses). "The Holy Place" Beautiful drapes hanging on five Golden Pillars, make the "Door". Inside at the left stands the Seven Golden Candlesticks, and at the right, the Table of Showbread, with the Golden Altar standing in the centre at the back. (This is where the angel fortold the birth of John the Baptist-Luke 1). "Holy of Holies" Two life size cherubims in hand work on pretty drapes make up the Veil. (This was rent when Christ died on the cross (Matt. 27:45-51). This "Veil" hangs on Four Golden Pillars, with bases of silver. Inside at centre stands the famous "Ark of the Covenant," where the Shekinah of God's glory was manifested, over the Mercy Seat. -Special Tourist Season Services-3 P.M.
