Item Description:Founded Nov. 1st, 1776. Swallows over Old Stone Church. One of the strangest and most interesting sights at the Mission are the busy little cliff swallows -- "Las Golandrinos" that build their little mud nests in the ledges and arches of the Old Church. With the coming of spring each year, on St. Joseph's Day, March nineteenth, the return of the swallows is celebrated
