Item Description: | Constructed in 1873, from one huge Redwood Tree, which yielded 78,000 feet of lumber, the Church is famous the world over. As the oldest living things, the Redwood Trees have supplied one of their number to create a living temple of worship. Seen here at its site for many years, it is now being reconstructed as a "shrine" at the city park |
