| Item Description: | With reproduction of t.-p. of original edition: Imajen del antecristo compuesta primero en italiano: i despues traduzida en romanze, por Alonso de Peñafuerte [pseud.?]. - The Imajen is translated from the French version of the original Italian, L'imagine d'antechristo, a sermon by Bernardino Ochino. The original edition of the Spanish version was printed by Crespin of Geneva probably in 1557. The three cuts are identical with three of the thirty six in Antithesis de praeclaris Christi et indignis papae facinoribus, Genevae, 1557, which contains a Latin translation of the same sermon. The Carta a Don Filipe II. is attributed to Juan Pérez de Pineda. cf. Bibliotheca Wiffeniana, v. 2, p.
