Description
Item Description:In Spanish, Quechua, and the "Chinchaysuyu" dialect(?) of Quechua. - Medina maintains this work was printed in 1701, without stating why. Vargas Ugarte lists it, however, as a 1700 imprint, on the basis of the imprimatur and license dates. Imprimatur and licenses dated: 2. de otubre de 1700; 3 de Oct de 1700; Octubre 12. de 1700; 25. de septiembre de 1700. - Originally published: En Lima : Por Francisco Lasso, año [de] 1619. This edition enlarged, if not also revised, by Father Juan de Figueredo. - One of the few imprints of the colonial period with a publisher as well as a printer. Poorly printed inasmuch as Contreras y Alvarado used badly worn type. - Signatures: [A] B-2I ([A]1 verso blank). - Includes index
