| Summary: | The registers of supplications of the Daterie d'Avignon provide new material for the study of the confessional itineraries of ecclesiastics in the 17th century. 62 absolutions and dispensations testify to the concessions granted by the pontifical authority to clerics and religious guilty of the crime of heresy. Converted to Calvinism or issuing from a protestant family, these clergymen illustrate through their singular path how the papacy relied on government by grace to reassert its spiritual authority over the catholic clergy during the century of the Edict of Nantes. Les registres de suppliques de la Daterie d'Avignon fournissent un matériau inédit pour l'étude des itinéraires confessionnels des ecclésiastiques au 17e s. 62 absolutions et dispenses témoignent des concessions accordées par l'autorité pontificale à des clercs et des religieux coupables de crime d'hérésie. Convertis au calvinisme ou issus d'une famille protestante, ces ecclésiastiques illustrent à travers leur parcours singulier comment la papauté s'appuie sur le gouvernement par la grâce pour réaffirmer son autorité spirituelle sur le clergé catholique au siècle de l'édit de Nantes. Die Supplikenregister der Daterie in Avignon bieten ein völlig neues Material für die Untersuchung der konfessionellen Lebenswege von Geistlichen im 17. Jahrhundert. Die 62 erhaltenen Absolutionen und Dispense zeugen von den Gnadenerweisen, die die päpstliche Autorität Klerikern und Religiösen gewährte, die sich des Verbrechens der Häresie schuldig gemacht hatten.
