Description
Summary:Hopi agriculture and the Hopi farmers who have farmed in the semi-arid Southwest for millennia have faced constant environmental and personal challenges. We are reminded of this when we look at a small ear of Hopi blue corn, as it represents humility, patience, and endurance. All of these qualities are needed to ensure the prosperity of the next generation of Hopi people - if not humanity.
