Description
Summary:This article introduces II B 60+, a codex of the Torah comprised of ten classmarks, nine in St. Petersburg and one in Jerusalem. These matches have not been noted heretofore. Based upon the evidence assembled in the article, it is determined that the MS was written by Samuel b. Jacob, the scribe of the Leningrad Codex. The article may be read (1.) as an introduction to II B 60+, (2.) as an overview of the work of SbJ, and (3.) as a broader introduction to the easily overlooked paratextual features that make each model Bible codex unique.
