Description
Summary:Colleges and universities are evaluated today by numbers. They are ranked by various indicators that reflect the academic expectations of the world of colleges. These evaluation methods, however, miss the central question of whether these institutions have a guiding vision. This article seeks to close this gap by examining the visions behind institutional processes. It does this from the specific perspective of a theology professor and rector and using the specific example of a local theological college in Central Europe. It shows, from examples, how theological principles can determine and inspire the everyday life of a Catholic College.
