| Summary: | Abstract Greece has been involved in global, local and civil wars in the past. Due to its geopolitical location, the country has also experienced both the threat of war and its political, religious and social consequences over time. This article examines whether the experience of wars and their aftermath, as well as the threat of war, have been taken into account in the new curricula for Religious Education (2023) in Greece, in order to use the theological and pedagogical potential and perspectives of Religious Education to defend and build of peace at interpersonal, local and global levels. Abstrakt Griechenland war in der Vergangenheit in globale, lokale und Bürgerkriege verwickelt. Aufgrund seiner geopolitischen Lage hat das Land im Laufe der Zeit sowohl die Gefahr von Kriegen als auch deren politische, religiöse und soziale Folgen erlebt. In diesem Artikel soll untersucht werden, ob die Erfahrungen mit Kriegen und deren Folgen sowie die Gefahr von Kriegen in den neuen Lehrplänen für den Religionsunterricht (2023) in Griechenland berücksichtigt wurden, um das theologische und pädagogische Potenzial und die Perspektiven des Religionsunterrichts für die Verteidigung und Schaffung von Frieden auf zwischenmenschlicher, lokaler und globaler Ebene zu nutzen. |
