To this end, we start with two ethnographic cases in northwestern Mexico. These cases are part of one’s ethnography undertaken between 2019 and 2020 and another between 2013 and 2018. Both studies show that we cannot speak of definitive ruptures or of an individualist transformation in the lives of Pentecostal converts. Although the variety of practices arising from conversions is not limited to deliverances, the latter have rarely been discussed in the debate about Christian individualism. | ||
