| Summary: | A partire dalle recenti novità introdotte da papa Francesco in materia di ministeri istituiti, l’articolo si propone di mettere a confronto quelle che sono due differenti modalità di servizio nella Chiesa: il ministero e l’ufficio ecclesiastico. Dopo aver precisato in sintesi il significato dei termini, il contributo delinea in linea generale alcune delle loro principali differenze, approfondendo la distinzione tra ministero istituito e ufficio ecclesiastico. Dall’analisi condotta emerge come il ministero e l’ufficio siano due realtà che vanno riconosciute nelle loro differenze, senza contrapporle né sovrapporle, in quanto permettono di assicurare nel concreto una risposta alle esigenze della Chiesa e alla sua missione nel mondo. Il confronto tra ministeri istituiti e uffici ecclesiastici, nello specifico, denota come il quadro normativo di riferimento per i primi non sia così definito, come per i secondi, ma necessiti di essere precisato sia a livello legislativo che in fase attuativa. Starting from the recent innovations introduced by Pope Francis on the subject of instituted ministries, the article proposes to compare two different modes of service in the Church: the ministry and the ecclesiastical office. After briefly explaining the meaning of the terms, the contribution outlines in general terms some of their main differences, deepening the distinction between instituted ministry and ecclesiastical office. From the analysis conducted, it emerges that the ministry and the office are two realities that must be recognised in their differences, without opposing or overlapping them, insofar as they allow a concrete response to the needs of the Church and its mission in the world. The comparison between instituted ministries and ecclesiastical offices, specifically, denotes how the normative framework of reference for the former is not as well defined as for the latter, but needs to be clarified both at the legislative level and in the implementation phase. |
