| Résumé: | The article deals with the liturgical work of the distinguished Archbishop of Seville, Saint Isidore. His work is placed in the methodology used and in the historical-evolutionary period of the Hispanic Liturgy. The texts attributed to him according to external and internal criteria are presented. The canons of the Councils in which he participated are analyzed: particularly the Second Council of Seville and the IV Council of Toledo. The liturgical provisions of the Rules for Monks are also studied. Finally, the liturgical themes discussed in his works The Ecclesiastical Offices and the Etymologies are analyzed. |
