Summary:The aim of this paper is to analyze the statement World Council of Churches, WCC, made on the war in Ukraine as well as the discussion related to the statement at the WCC's 11th assembly in 2022. The statement and the discussion around it at the assembly will also open a wider perspective on ecumenical movements.
