| Summary: | Son varias las reformas que ha sufrido la Orden de San Agustín en el Río de la Plata (actual Argentina), pero si analizamos los resultados hay serias dudas de las intenciones reales que las impulsaron. Esta afirmación la hacemos porque todavía continúa siendo verídico que "por sus frutos los conoceréis", y estos en las pretendidas reformas son muy distintos, porque distintos son los criterios aplicados en cada una de ellas, lo que ya ofrece un buen punto de apoyo para sacar sus correspondientes interpretaciones. There are several reforms that the Order of St. Augustine has undergone in the Río de la Plata (current Argentina), but if we analyze the results there are serious doubts about the real intentions that drove them.
