Description
Summary:This article presents, first, an introductory framework on the incidence of the War of Succession in the territories of the Crown of Aragon. And, secondly, through Vatican documentation, it analyzes in more detail the different attitudes of the bishops of these territories during the war, which posed a conflict of loyalties. Some were banished and others were forced to abandon their church.
